A Baby Boomer Quiz, Part II This week I heard from my younger baby boomer friends who objected to last week's quiz. As one said, "I was still in a crib when JFK was assassinated." So in honor of you teens of the '70s (especially Gary, Lisa, Brad, Bradley, Laura, Julie and Byron who helped with these questions), here is my '70s version of the baby boomer quiz. Who/what was? Best friends of Fred and Wilma Flintstone Heavyweight champion boxer challenged by Rocky Balboa in "Rocky I" First names of all nine Bradys including the housekeeper (if you can't get this one, you probably are not a child of the '70s) Stage name for Richie Cunningham's sister on "Happy Days" Winner of seven gold medals at the 1972 Olympics in Munich The two Washington Post reporters who uncovered key elements in the Watergate scandal Nickname for the anonymous source used by these reporters Full name of the SLA, the terrorist group who kidnapped Patty Hearst First major hit for Barry Manilow, originally titled "Brandy" Stage names of the three original Charlie's angels Real names of actresses who played the original angels Name of the hairstyle popularized by Dorothy Hamil Archie Bunker's nickname for his son-in-law, Michael Bulky, brown shoes supposed to make walking feel more natural Jewelry supposed to change color with one's disposition Played Mork on "Mork and Mindy" Character played by John Travolta in "Welcome Back Kotter" Said "I am not a crook." Said "Take it easy." Said "Two, two, two mints in one." Synthetic-knit formal attire worn by the sporty male of the '70s Fill in the blanks Cause if I were an Oscar Mayer wiener (7 words) Rainy days and Mondays always (3 words) I'm living it up at the Hotel (1word) I've been through the desert on (5 words) There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold and she's climbing (4 words) Smoke on the water, fire (3 words) What Archie Bunker said to Edith when he wanted her to keep quiet (3 words) If you're not sure you like the breakfast cereal, get this person to try it first (1 word) Bonus points What were the names of the Brady family pets?
